We are seeking a skilled Nurse Care Specialist to join our team at Avera Clinic Division. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing information to patients via phone or in-person consultations.
- Triage patient calls and provide guidance and support to address their concerns and needs.
- Transcribe patient information and present it to the healthcare provider for review and action.
- Apply knowledge of growth and development principles to respond to patient needs and provide individualized care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of South Dakota or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure.
Work Environment
- Day shift as needed; PRN.
