Job Description:

This exciting opportunity is available for an Acute Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team at Banner Desert Medical Center. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring the highest level of patient safety and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compounds non-sterile medication products
  • Restocks medications to nursing and ancillary areas
  • Maintains accurate documentation of medications compounded and repackaged
  • Handles narcotic medications following federal and legal requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Pharmacy Technician licensure and active certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Proficient in using pharmacy computer systems and software
