Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Maintenance Specialist to join our team at NexCore Group. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment to ensure proper performance.
  • Verify equipment operation and perform routine maintenance checks to identify and address any issues.
  • Oversee the installation of equipment on properties and manage services as required.
  • Make emergency service calls and arrange for prompt service work when necessary.
  • Provide day-to-day management of maintenance and facility functions.
  • Work with various Building Automation Systems to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Monitor jobs to ensure quality and compliance with job standards.
  • Gather bids and prepare estimates for costs of various jobs.
  • Coordinate activities with other trade areas, operations manager, or outside contractors.
  • Maintain records of jobs performed, billing charges, invoicing, and hours worked.
  • Recommend improvements, changes, or new techniques or procedures.
  • Travel to properties across the Colorado region to provide support, which may include extended stays over weekends.
  • Exposure to outside elements on a weekly basis to manage repairs on property.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree or equivalent preferred.
  • HVAC Certification or equivalent preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in general building maintenance, carpentry, construction, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Knowledge of general OSHA safety requirements.
  • Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude and ability.
  • Working knowledge of common hand tools and testing equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer skills and proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong understanding of Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependability and reliability with a strong commitment to producing timely work to required or higher standards.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary range: $60,000 - $70,000 per year.
