Clinical Laboratory Specialist
Join our committed team as a Clinical Laboratory Specialist, where your primary responsibilities will include the preparation, labeling, preservation, and processing of biological specimens.
You will conduct moderate to high complexity testing in accordance with established protocols, while also assisting with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
Your role will encompass the preparation and storage of specimens, reagents, and culture media, in addition to supporting quality control procedures.
Maintain and monitor Turnaround Time (TAT) for all assays within the department, ensuring adherence to documentation and record-keeping standards, while following our laboratory's Quality Management System.
Collaborate effectively with team members and leadership on various laboratory maintenance tasks, including inventory management, biohazardous waste disposal, and sterilization of glassware, all while upholding a clean and organized workspace.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
Essential Qualifications:
- Active licensure as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a CLIA-certified laboratory
- Degree in a relevant scientific field
- Proficiency in Microbiology techniques

Employment Type: This is a permanent role.
Work Environment: This position is fully on-site.
Work Setting: Medical Lab/Diagnostic Lab with potential exposure to chemicals, biological materials, sharps, and scientific instruments. We adhere to OSHA standards concerning pathogens, the Safety Needle Act, and our Chemical Hygiene Plan, while maintaining comprehensive safety and training programs.
