RN Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Supervisor to join our team at Ascension Borgess Hospital. As a RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating unit staffing, providing leadership, and ensuring the implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in assigned areas.

• Supervise and coordinate unit staffing to ensure effective patient care delivery
• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing and support staff
• Contribute to or perform performance evaluations of staff
• Assess daily patient care needs and develop patient care assignments
• Respond to complaints about patient care and manage through established channels
• May provide input for hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluating of staff

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred
• Education: Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job-specific experience required
• Work Experience: 1 year of experience required

• ED Supervisor with Bachelors in Nursing, 3 years of Emergency Room Experience preferred
