About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Critical Care Nurse to join our ICU Step Down Unit at Northwest Hospital. As a member of our patient care team, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe and effective patient care, utilizing strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status and implement clinical nursing interventions.
- Develop and implement patient care plans to enhance and improve outcomes, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team.
- Function as an advisor and resource for patients and their families, providing education and support to promote optimal health outcomes.
Requirements:
- Basic professional knowledge, equivalent to an Associate's degree, with working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field.
- RN Diploma with relevant experience also accepted.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License.
- American Heart Association CPR Certification.
- ACLS Certification preferred.
