Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist PRN to join our team at HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge. As a technologist, you will operate MRI scanners and ensure that procedures produce high-quality images and information for healthcare professionals to make accurate diagnoses.

Responsibilities

  • Position and prepare patients for exams according to the type of procedure to be performed
  • Perform procedures and assess patients throughout, responding to their needs as appropriate
  • Complete documentation for each study performed
  • Use professional discernment and critical thinking when performing procedures
  • Participate in orientation and training of new staff members and teach students during clinical rotations
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of scanners and exam protocols to ensure the highest quality procedures

Requirements

  • Currently registered as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MR registry)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course through AHA or ARC, as specified in policy
  • Current registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • One year of experience in an MRI Imaging Department preferred
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Associate Degree
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT), or ARRT with MRI
