Hearing Care Professional Trainee

About the Role
This is a paid traineeship where you'll be trained on all aspects of the Hearing Care Professional role in preparation for licensure in your state. You'll work closely with our clinical staff to ensure patients receive quality care and service. By partnering with healthcare professionals onsite, you'll provide support to patients and help them achieve their hearing goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform comprehensive examinations to identify potential hearing loss
* Analyze test results and make recommendations for hearing loss mitigation
* Teach patients how to utilize new technology to meet their hearing goals
* Follow up to ensure patients are successful in their hearing journey
* Perform hearing aid repairs, checks, and cleanings
* Work with the community and participate in marketing activities and outreach opportunities

Requirements
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Associates Degree or above, required
* Prior experience/knowledge with hearing aids is a plus but not required
* Professional verbal and written communication
* Strong relationship building skills with patients, physicians, clinical staff
* 2+ years in a healthcare environment, preferred
* Previous customer service experience, required
