Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Neurologist to join our team in Kearney, Nebraska. As a member of our Department of Neurology, you will have the opportunity to provide comprehensive neurological care to patients in a Center of Excellence.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Neurologist who is passionate about General Neurology and is looking to join a progressive and rapidly expanding department. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality patient care and is committed to staying at the forefront of medical advancements.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a well-respected and experienced Neurology team based in Omaha, as well as partner with our Comprehensive Epilepsy Center, Stroke Center, EMG-NCS Lab, and EEG Services.

Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat various medical conditions, including neurological disorders and stroke.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, working closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories, using a patient-centered approach to healthcare.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, providing clear and concise medical information.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with coding and billing regulations.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging, and perform procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives, reviewing and analyzing clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices, participating in ongoing medical education and training.
- American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible
