At Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Department Technician to join our team. As an ED Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the admitting, transporting, and transferring of patients.
- Restock and reorganize areas after procedures and prepare for the next patient.
- Follow priorities based on patient care requirements as delegated by the RN.
- High School Diploma
- CPR certification
- Completion of EMT/Paramedic training program

Please note that this position requires regular contact with children, and as such, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI fingerprint-based federal criminal records check.
Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jefferson's clinical entities or at the University. If you are not currently vaccinated, you will be required to receive the vaccination prior to hire date if you are offered employment, unless you request and receive an approved medical or religious exemption from Jefferson.
