Become a Welding Quality Assurance Specialist at GMF Steel Group

GMF Steel Group is on the lookout for a skilled and knowledgeable Welding Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational efficiency within our manufacturing processes.

Primary Duties:

  • Execute comprehensive evaluations and document compliance with engineering specifications and project requirements
  • Carry out welding and assembly inspections in accordance with established industry protocols
  • Offer insights and suggestions for enhancing project execution
  • Oversee quality assurance inspections and certification workflows
  • Work collaboratively with diverse teams to uphold AISC standards
  • Examine and manage project documentation and timelines
  • Guarantee compliance with quality assurance and safety regulations

Essential Qualifications:

  • Possession of a CWI Certification is mandatory
  • Expertise in visual weld inspection and dimensional assessment
  • Familiarity with Tekla EPM Go and the ability to interpret structural drawings
  • Excellent communication abilities and capacity to operate independently
  • Willingness to travel and adapt to flexible working hours as required
  • Understanding of industry standards such as AWS and AISC

Compensation:

  • Annual salary range of $75,000 - $95,000, inclusive of performance-based bonuses
  • Salary is commensurate with experience
