About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and patrol the casino floor to identify and respond to potential security threats
  • Provide superior service to our guests and respond to their needs in a professional and courteous manner
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests
  • Maintain a high level of visibility and presence on the casino floor to deter potential security threats
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed
  • Complete various paperwork and reports as required
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in casino security, security, or law enforcement preferred
  • Requires a clean driving record and a valid MS Driver's License
  • Certification in AED, CPR, and First Aid preferred
  • Basic skills and understanding of computers preferred
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Able to handle stressful situations dealing with the general public
  • Ability to work in an environment that may be noisy and/or have excessive cigarette smoke
  • Need tact when dealing with difficult customers
  • Run on level surfaces, as well as, up and down stairs
  • Ability to identify and quickly respond to potential problems and conflicts and defend self and others in combative situations
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently move around all work areas, including walking and standing for long periods of time
  • Ability to multi-task as required
  • Required to initiate positive interactions with guests and employees
  • Actively patrolling sections/floor looking for interaction opportunities, answering calls while still maintaining the ability to build relationships
  • The ability to operate company motor vehicles
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations, including the ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas, such as confined spaces
  • Must complete ServSafe alcohol training course
