Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Technician II to join our team. As a Packaging Technician II, you will be responsible for labeling, inspecting, and packaging final container products using manual and/or automated packaging systems. You will work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but require occasional deviation from accepted practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Labeling and packaging of final container products using manual and/or automated packaging systems.
  • Inspecting and verifying the quality of packaged products.
  • Weighing, measuring, and checking packaging components and final product to ensure batches manufactured are packaged in specified quantities.
  • Aiding in validating processes and equipment related to packaging and cleaning.
  • Cleaning equipment and facilities used for packaging, setting up, changing over, and operating labeling and packaging equipment.
  • Responsible for data entry and imprinting computer-generated labels, maintaining records, and manufacturing/production area to comply with regulatory requirements, current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs), and standard operating procedures.
  • Performing initial checks of completed documents for completeness and accuracy.
  • Working on projects that are semi-routine in nature, normally following established procedures with little oversight.
  • Exercising judgment in resolving problems and making routine recommendations.
  • Providing lab support for manufacturing suites, such as sampling materials and logging them in for analysis.
  • Supporting processing and packaging by adhering to SOPs, may provide technical training to others.
  • Troubleshooting and offering ideas for improvements, adhering to safety procedures, and interacting with other departments to share information.
Requirements
  • Requires a minimum of a High School diploma, equivalent experience may be accepted.
  • A minimum of 2 years industry experience is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year warehouse or manufacturing experience is required.
  • Experience working in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry is a plus.
