About the Role
We're seeking a Full-time weekend RN to join our team. This role requires flexible scheduling, with Saturday and Sunday being required. As a Home Health Weekend Registered Nurse, you'll be a field employee who performs skilled nursing visits, completes coordination of client care, and oversees the frequency of visits for the episode. You'll also consult with physicians and office staff as needed, perform accurate OASIS collection, and ensure lab values are reported timely.
Responsibilities
As a Home Health Weekend Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing skilled nursing visits and completing coordination of client care
- Point of contact for all disciplines involved with providing care to patients
- Overseeing the frequency of visits for the episode
- Consulting with physicians and office staff as needed
- Performing accurate OASIS collection and ensuring medication profiles remain current
- Ensuring lab values are reported timely
- Attending weekly case conference and monthly case manager meetings
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of employment
- A minimum of one year of clinical experience is preferred
- Demonstrate knowledge and skill in current nursing practice
- Possess a valid state driver's license and automobile liability insurance
