About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join WellSpan Health as a skilled After School Program Coordinator. We are seeking a dedicated professional with a passion for providing exceptional care and support to children and adolescents in need.

Job Description

We oversee day-to-day therapeutic and program activities of our child and adolescent after-school program, ensuring that every participant receives comprehensive support and guidance. Our ideal candidate will have experience working in children's behavioral healthcare, with a strong background in psychology, counseling, or social work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in monitoring admissions to ensure clinical appropriateness and efficient provision of services.
  • Work closely with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account each patient's unique needs and goals.
  • Responsible for ongoing staff development, providing training and support to help staff members grow professionally and improve their skills.
  • Evaluate patients' clinical progression and adjust treatment plans accordingly, collaborating with other healthcare professionals as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience in children's behavioral healthcare, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
