Culinary Specialist

Promenade at Blue Hill, a Senior Assisted Living Residence, is in search of a Line Cook. This position offers a structured schedule of five days a week, including a weekend day, with some flexibility to cover shifts as necessary. Candidates should possess experience in grill operations, food preparation, and the creation of soups, salads, and sandwiches. Proficiency in maintaining cleanliness and closing the kitchen is essential.

Role Overview: The Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for residents while upholding the cleanliness standards of the kitchen under the supervision of the Food Service Director.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of six (6) months of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. Candidates who are motivated will be considered even without prior experience.

Language Proficiency:

• Ability to communicate effectively in English and comprehend both written and oral instructions.
• Ability to convey information in individual and group settings to residents, families, and company personnel.
