Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional hospitality and service to customers.
  • Manage POS (Point of Sale) operations, including scanning, key entry, scale usage, coupon redemption, refunds, and processing various payment methods.
  • Accurately bag customer groceries following our specific bagging procedures.
  • Maintain efficiency and accuracy in scanning items, with a focus on productivity metrics.
  • Adhere to proper check cashing, refund, and store charge protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with WIC, Electronic Benefits (EBT), and regulations regarding alcohol and tobacco sales.
  • Promote marketing initiatives and programs to customers.
  • Gather feedback and donations from customers regarding current programs.
  • Engage effectively with customers by addressing inquiries and assisting with requests.
  • Follow cash drawer security and loss prevention guidelines.
  • Notify management of any safety, security, or cleanliness concerns.
  • Assist in various operational areas, including service counters, self-scan zones, and customer service tasks.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and team members.
  • Exhibit key hospitality principles in all customer interactions.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic math proficiency.
  • Able to learn and utilize various proprietary systems and technologies.
  • Effective problem-solving skills to enhance the customer experience.
  • Ability to accurately identify products to ensure correct pricing.
