About the Role

As a Ultrasound Tech, you will be responsible for obtaining high-quality ultrasound images of patients, demonstrating competence in following established scanning protocols, and exercising independent judgment and decision-making in complex situations. You will also be responsible for managing ultrasound equipment, recognizing significant diagnostic information, and utilizing computer operations to prepare examination rooms and monitor inventory of supplies.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain quality ultrasound images of patients
  • Follow established scanning protocols and adjust as required
  • Manage all ultrasound equipment and recognize significant diagnostic information
  • Utilize independent judgment and decision-making in complex situations
  • Prepare examination rooms and monitor inventory of supplies
  • Review each exam for technical accuracy
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding employees and patient information
Requirements
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
  • Vocational School Graduate
