We are currently looking for Hospice Companion Volunteers to join our expanding Hospice Division.

Please note: This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity.

Your Role as a Volunteer

• Engage with your patient by reading to them, sharing smiles, listening to their life stories, enjoying music together, watching a favorite show, or playing card games.
• If you prefer a more administrative role, we have positions available at our Corporate Hospice office where you can assist as part of the office support team.
• This role offers flexibility, and we appreciate any time you can contribute.

Volunteer Responsibilities

• Complete the official application and background check form upon contact.
• Engage in an interview process.
• Attend an initial training and orientation session for volunteers.
• Dedicate time to serving your assigned patient or fulfilling administrative tasks.
• Maintain consistent communication with your Volunteer Coordinator.
• Document activities in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

Volunteer Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess reliable transportation along with a valid state driver's license and current car insurance.
• Exhibit kindness, compassion, reliability, and emotional stability.
