  • Perform Nurse Aide skills within their scope of practice.
  • Accurately transcribe and process provider orders and written information in accordance with hospital policies.
  • Communicate information accurately and courteously to patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Organize, prioritize, and perform work effectively and efficiently.
  • Facilitate the flow of patients throughout the Medical Center by accurately transferring and discharging patients in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and adjust schedule to enhance team performance.
  • Demonstrate a daily commitment to the values of the department.
  • Demonstrate positive interpersonal relations in dealing with all members of the team and customers.
  • Maintain and promote customer satisfaction.
  • Perform moderate or waived point of care testing per CLIA guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant I (CNA I) certification.
  • General Education Degree.
  • Experience preferred, with knowledge/experience with medical terminology.
