Pediatric Care Specialist
At Centers for Independence, we are seeking a skilled Pediatric Care Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to children with special health care needs.
About the Role
This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent and current WI Nursing Assistant License. The ideal candidate will have experience working with pediatric clients and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide basic nursing skills within level of competency and delegated by a licensed nurse.
- Assist with client activities, i.e. music, play therapy, etc.
- Develop and organize daily program plans, curriculum, and materials, ensuring students' needs are being met throughout the day.
- Direct individual and small group instruction to implement child-based educational and developmental goals.
Working Conditions
The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal.
Compensation
We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits.
