Job Summary

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Cycle Counter to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a Cycle Counter, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of inventory levels on campus by performing cycle counts daily, weekly, and quarterly, and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cycle counts daily, weekly, and quarterly to ensure accuracy of inventory levels
  • Resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Segregate parts with visual signs of damage or deterioration
  • Document results of counts on specified Business Unit inventory cycle count worksheet
  • Re-count all parts that are out of tolerance
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Seven to twelve months related experience and/or training
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and Operational Method Sheets (OMS)
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
