Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high-quality installation of electrical components, including underground cabling, wiring, and DC collection systems.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team for drawing reviews, ensuring compliance with specifications and contract updates.
  • Work alongside project management to review schedules and updates.
  • Supervise the work team, ensuring quality control and adherence to safety standards.
  • Manage the connection interface between the project power grid and the existing transmission system.
  • Participate in project meetings, acting as a liaison between engineers, contractors, and craft workers.
  • Foster a collaborative environment within the project team.
  • Maintain professional relationships with site visitors, including customers and contractors.
  • Review logistics and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Monitor contractor procurement of electrical resources and ensure coordination with site activities.
  • Work with engineering staff to ensure timely transmission of plans and specifications to subcontractors.
  • Oversee safety, quality, and efficiency of contractor work on all projects.
  • Ensure subcontract crews have the necessary resources and support.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in electrical operations.
  • Proficient in the installation, testing, and maintenance of DC and medium voltage cables.
  • Knowledgeable in various cable and equipment testing methods.
  • Familiar with electrical drawings, underground systems, and SCADA systems used in the power industry.
