About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a key member of our cardiovascular program, you will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and establishing strong working relationships with physicians and leadership.

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. You will work closely with our experienced cardiologists and electrophysiologists to provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing various cardiovascular procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare equipment and maintain a sterile environment before and during procedures
  • Assess patient conditions and provide appropriate care and support
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care
  • Participate in the orientation of new staff and serve as a preceptor for radiology students
  • Use downtime effectively to stock rooms, check equipment, and complete other delegated tasks

Requirements:

  • Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification
  • Previous procedural area experience preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care; Current BLS certification required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment

Benefits:

  • $27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience
