Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop HVAC systems for various types of buildings, including residential, commercial, and industrial facilities, utilizing advanced design tools such as AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to create comprehensive plans that ensure the successful execution of HVAC projects.
- Conduct load and energy calculations, select and size equipment, and create system layouts.
- Perform feasibility studies and cost assessments to identify optimal HVAC solutions tailored to client needs.
- Analyze and troubleshoot existing HVAC systems, proposing enhancements to boost efficiency and performance.
- Stay informed about the latest HVAC technologies and industry advancements to provide innovative solutions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards in all designs.
- Work closely with team members, mentor junior engineers, and actively participate in project meetings and presentations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in HVAC design and mechanical engineering.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, equipment, and design standards.
- Solid knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends.
