Job Summary:

The Senior Associate, Systems Engineering role is an intermediate professional position that requires practical knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices. The successful candidate will work under moderate supervision to set objectives for their job area and communicate with contacts inside and outside their team to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generation of functional block diagrams, use-case diagrams, cabling diagrams, and other engineering deliverables.
  • Generation of Engineering Change Orders and conduct of trade studies.
  • Integration and test planning, including generation of plans and procedures.
  • Creation and presentation of design review materials.
  • Verification of system interfaces.
  • Interfacing with other engineering disciplines to ensure proper coordination of systems aspects of the project.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
  • Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
  • 2+ years of direct Engineering experience.
Preferred Skills:
  • Active DoD security Clearance.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative, drive, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with DOORS requirements management software.
  • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
