Job Summary

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in Opa Locka, Florida.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve imaging quality, patient satisfaction, and department efficiency.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in ultrasound technology and medical imaging techniques.
Requirements
  • Registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) within one year of hire.
  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
