Southcoast Health is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our Rehabilitation Services team. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities
Under the direction of a Team Leader, you will perform a variety of patient care and related duties within the Rehabilitation Services Department. This may include assisting physical therapists with patient evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing direct patient care. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have an Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy and a current Massachusetts license as a Physical Therapist Assistant. One year of experience in a related field is preferred, as is CPR certification. You must also be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or have a valid medical or personal exemption.
