About the Role:

The Resident Care Associate (RCA) is a vital member of our team at Forest Glen Health Campus, providing general non-certified routine services to our residents. As an RCA, you will be responsible for ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents, while also maintaining a clean and organized living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with housekeeping and laundry services, including trash removal and making and changing unoccupied beds.
  • Assist with all aspects of meal service, including transportation of residents to and from the dining room, tray delivery, and ensuring a great dining experience.
  • Answer resident call lights promptly and ensure that residents who are unable to call for help are checked frequently.
  • Assist with 1:1 observations as assigned and maintain communication with the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse to report any resident changes in condition, concerns, and grievances.
  • Provide great customer service, companionship, communication, and engagement in activities.
  • Assist clinical staff to make residents comfortable, including checking sitting position, hydration, and passing.
  • Assist with personal care responsibilities according to state regulatory guidelines.

Requirements:

  • High School / GED
  • 0-1 years of experience
  • No required licenses or certifications
