Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Family Medicine Physician to join our team at Syracuse Community Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality primary care to our patients, working within the structure of the family practice model.
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary health care to patients, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
- Participate in night and weekend on-call coverage rotation to ensure 24/7 patient care.
- Assume teaching responsibilities as assigned, including supervising Nurse Practitioners, Midwives, or Physician Assistant provider personnel.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited medical school.
- Current New York State license.
- Current BLS and infection control certifications.
- Current DEA Registration.
Physical Demands:
Ambulatory - 95%
Sedentary - 5%
Subject to stress and Fatigue
Requires manual and finger dexterity and eye hand coordination when working with patients and equipment.
Subject to repeated bending, squatting and stooping.
Requires corrected vision and hearing within normal range
What We Offer:
A competitive salary and benefits package, including a sign-on bonus up to $20,000.00. This is a 40 hour per week position, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
Eligibility:
Full-time, direct hire, internal and external candidates are eligible for the sign-on bonus.
