Job Summary:
We are seeking a Medical Care Specialist to join our team at Monroe Community Hospital in Rochester, NY. This role involves providing high-quality patient care under the direction of a registered professional nurse or licensed physician. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver compassionate and personalized care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks within the framework of case finding, health teaching, health counseling, and provision of supportive and restorative care.
- Provide direct and indirect care to convalescent and chronically/seriously ill patients.
- Report directly to and work under the general supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse, School Nurse, or other higher-level staff member.
- Exercise general supervision over subordinate staff as required.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Possession of a valid New York State Registered Professional Nursing (RN) license or valid New York State Licensed Professional Nursing (LPN) license.
