Job Title: Counselor I

Job Summary:

The Counselor I will provide vocational rehabilitation services to individuals with disabilities, helping them to achieve and maintain competitive employment. This includes conducting assessments, developing individualized plans, and providing guidance and support to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct vocational assessments and develop individualized plans for employment (IPE)
  • Provide guidance and support to clients to help them achieve their employment goals
  • Collaborate with clients, employers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful employment outcomes
  • Manage a caseload of clients and provide regular updates to supervisors
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Vocational Rehabilitation, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities and their families
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
