Position Details

Dentsu Creative, alongside MKTG's Field & Event Staffing division, is seeking Part-Time On-Site Brand Representatives for a program focused on engaging with the student community.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals within college environments to gain practical experience in Experiential Marketing while establishing connections with MKTG/Dentsu Creative for future endeavors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Educate students about a subscription service from a well-known retail brand and promote membership sign-ups.
  • Act as a Brand Representative, conveying our client's messaging during live events.
  • Engage with consumers and event participants to enhance brand visibility and foster consumer trust.
  • Participate in training sessions to familiarize yourself with the service being promoted.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of promotional areas.

Ideal candidates will be articulate, approachable, and enthusiastic about engaging with fellow students to explain the service and its benefits. We seek individuals who are confident in public interactions and possess a friendly demeanor. Experience in sales or involvement in student organizations is advantageous.

Event Schedule

Events will coincide with college campus welcome activities, and some may occur outdoors. Availability may vary as event details are finalized.

Training Requirements

All selected candidates must complete a two-day paid virtual training session, which includes interactive video calls and a review of training materials.

Qualifications
  • Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence in engaging with students and their families.
  • Excellent verbal communication abilities.
  • Dependable and punctual.
  • Desire to learn about brands and new technologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic event environment.
  • Experience in sales or customer service is preferred.
  • Comfortable using technology for guiding consumers through web and app-based services.
  • Must possess a smartphone and reliable transportation.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the US.

Compensation: The anticipated pay rate for this position is $30.00 per hour, determined by various factors including experience and skills.

This role is classified as a Part-Time Occasional Hourly W2 position. Candidates should be aware that this is not a remote opportunity; on-site presence is required.
