Job Summary:

As a staff pharmacist with The University of Vermont Health Network, you will play a critical role in ensuring the preparation and dispensing of medications and pharmaceutical supplies for both inpatients and outpatients. This position requires a strong foundation in pharmacy practice, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and dispense medications and pharmaceutical supplies in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and optimal treatment outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and adhere to regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • BS Pharmacy degree and Registered Pharmacist (NYS) licensure are required.
  • Previous hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of pharmacy software are essential.

Work Schedule:

The primary shift for this position is 2:30pm to 11pm, with secondary shifts available from 1pm to 9:30pm and 7am to 3:30pm.
