Job Overview:

Under the supervision of the Radiologist, the CT Imaging Specialist is responsible for conducting computerized tomography scans across various body areas to aid the medical team in identifying abnormalities.

This role encompasses the responsibilities and functions of a Radiology Technologist as designated. The position necessitates delivering care and services to a diverse patient demographic, ranging from critically ill pediatric to geriatric patients, ensuring an understanding of their functional and developmental age.


Qualifications:
  • Preferred: One year of experience in CT.
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
  • An EEO/AA Employer M/F/V/D. Tobacco-Free Campus.
  • Experience is essential; candidates with some CT experience may be considered for cross-training to achieve the ARRT registry.
  • ARRT (CT) registry is not mandatory; however, ARRT (R) is required, and CT Tech experience is necessary for consideration.

Education Requirements:
Associate Degree or completion of a Vocational School program from an accredited School of Radiology.

Licensure/Certification:
Must possess a State of Florida HRS General Radiography license.
Current BCLS-C certification is required.
ARRT certification (Radiographer and CT) is required or must be obtained within six months.
