Position Overview:
The Downstream Operator role is an essential entry-level position within our Extrusion department. In this capacity, you will be responsible for ensuring that the final product is properly wound onto reels, maintaining high standards of quality and safety throughout the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with fellow production staff to ensure accurate winding of orders onto reels for customer shipment.
- Assist in line start-ups and reel changes, ensuring correct setup for operations.
- Operate the reeler in both manual and automatic modes, while managing the grinding of line scrap as it is produced.
- Conduct basic quality checks to verify that products meet customer specifications.
- Uphold safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Work Schedule:
- Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:00 PM on a 2-2-3 schedule.
- Work days: Alternating work and off days, allowing for every other weekend as a 3-day weekend.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive hourly wage of $20.00.
