Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you'll be responsible for serving cocktails and beverages to our guests, greeting them, answering questions, and making recommendations. You'll also be responsible for preparing and serving food, using our company's core values to guide your decisions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests, read and listen to their preferences, make recommendations, and take drink orders.
  • Upsell items, create recipes, utilize proper equipment and ingredients, and handle basic cleaning duties.
  • Inform guests about new beverages and specials.
  • Select and mix ingredients, garnish glasses, and serve beverages to guests.
  • Check identification to ensure guests are the legal age to purchase alcohol.
  • Take inventory and order supplies to ensure the bar and tables are well-stocked.
  • Adhere to all food safety and quality regulations.
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate.
  • Maintain a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
  • Assist the General Manager with other assigned duties.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Additional education, training, certificates, or experience preferred.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Positive, engaging personality, and professional appearance.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong task and time management abilities.
  • Punctual.
  • Eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc. for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
