Samaritan, a leading not-for-profit provider of home-based primary care, palliative care, and hospice care, is seeking an Inpatient Hospice Nurse to join our team. Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year.

Job Description:

  • Care for Patients: Provide expert care to patients in need of hospice services, ensuring their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Document Patient Information: Accurately document patient information, including medical history, treatments, and outcomes.
  • Provide Education: Educate patients and their families on end-of-life care, pain management, and other relevant topics.
  • Manage Medications: Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and manage medication regimens to ensure safe and effective care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Nursing Experience: Minimum one year of related nursing experience.
  • Licensure: NJ RN license required; BSN preferred.
  • Bilingual Ability: Bilingual ability a plus.
