Nurse First is seeking a skilled and experienced Echo Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Hillsborough, North Carolina. As an Echo Technologist, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and other diagnostic imaging procedures to help diagnose and treat patients with heart conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform echocardiograms and other diagnostic imaging procedures to help diagnose and treat patients with heart conditions
  • Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment, including transducers and ultrasound machines
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure and positioning the patient
  • Collect and analyze data from echocardiograms and other diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Communicate results to healthcare providers and patients

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
  • Current certification as an RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Echo Technologist
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
