Job Summary:
Cynet Health is seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care to critically ill patients, working closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient's vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, including critical care drips and ventilator management.
- Perform various procedures, such as ICP monitoring, external ventricular drain (EVD) management, and spinal precautions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in ICU or Critical Care setting.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Neuro and Trauma experience preferred.
- Charge experience a plus.
