Bridgeway's Behavioral Health Team is seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team.

About the Role:

The Mental Health Therapist will work in a fulfilling environment offering mental health counseling services to individuals, couples/families, and group services. This role involves delivering mental health counseling services utilizing various therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Therapy/Counseling Services: Provide mental health counseling services aligning with person-centered plans and utilizing assessment data and medical necessity.
  • Client Engagement: Implement strategies to maintain a no-show rate of under 9%. Offer follow-up services such as letters and calls to clients who miss appointments or drop out of services.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate assessments, consumer-centric plans, and other documentation to support mental health diagnoses and provided services' medical necessity.
  • Crisis Intervention: Offer crisis intervention services as necessary, as a backup resource to the Bridgeway Emergency Services Team.
  • Education and Guidance: Provide guidance and education to Bridgeway Staff, school personnel, and community members to enhance understanding and acceptance of mental health challenges and the concept of recovery.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. Prior counseling internship experience is desirable. Possessing LCPC or LCSW licensure in Illinois is also preferred. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential.
