Job Title: Light Maintenance Technician

Job Description Summary: We are seeking a skilled Light Maintenance Technician to join our team at C&W Services. As a Light Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing general light maintenance activities within the Process Area Support environment.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general light maintenance activities within the Process Area Support environment.
  • Sanitize and clean assigned areas following master cleaning schedules and procedures.
  • Operate skid steer loaders, scissors lifts, boom lifts, forklifts, and hand & power tools.
  • Assist in some maintenance, railroad, and groundwork such as mowing, trimming, landscaping, and snow removal.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisor and customer to accomplish assigned tasks and develop sound customer relations.
  • Work from elevated areas such as ladders, platforms, scaffolding, etc. utilizing fall protection equipment when required by the job.
  • Perform other work as defined by company and/or customer.
  • Ensure compliance with all company / customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Meet physical requirements of the job.
  • Perform assigned tasks in a safety, effective, and efficient manner.
  • Accurate and timely administrative duties to include, but not limited to, time accounting and work order completion.

Requirements:

  • 0-2 years of experience in industrial cleaning desirable.
  • Ability to move for extended or continuous periods of time.
  • Ability to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools.
  • Ability to operate applicable hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
  • Ability to operate forklifts or other vehicles in a safe manner.
  • Ability to wear a respirator while performing job duties.

The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold, wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
