Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and customer service. You will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, processing patient information, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Pharmacists: Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will assist with the preparation and dispensing of medications, as well as provide patient education and counseling.
- Process Patient Information: You will accurately and efficiently process patient information, including demographic data, medication lists, and insurance information.
- Maintain Accurate Records: You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions, medication dispensing, and other relevant information.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: You will provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting a positive shopping experience.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 6 months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills.
