We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Equiliem. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive clinical outcome.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient care in a safe and comfortable manner, including assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), obtaining and recording vital signs, and positioning patients for optimal comfort.
- Assist patients with ambulation, transfers, and the application of adaptive equipment as needed.
- Participate in the care planning process and implement care according to the care plan.
- Perform skin treatments, apply simple clean dressings, and assist with meals and nourishment as permitted by state regulation.
- Record patient's oral intake and output, and maintain infection prevention and control precautions practices according to policy.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide timely and effective care consistent with individual's needs, choices, and preferences.
- Successful completion of a state-approved certified nursing assistant program.
- A minimum of a high school education or high school equivalency diploma is preferred.
- Knowledge of procedures and techniques involved in administering simple treatments and providing related bedside patient care services, as permitted by state regulation.
- Ability to contribute to a patient-centered environment and work rotating shifts and different units.
