Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Tech to join our team at EmblemHealth. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating radioisotope equipment, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients under the direction of a physician
  • Operate radioisotope equipment to produce computer-generated images
  • Perform quality control checks on laboratory equipment and cameras
  • Calculate and record radiation dosage and radiopharmaceuticals received, used, and disposed
  • Process cardiac function studies and record results
  • Assist in preparing intake charts and explaining test procedures to patients
  • Prepare stock radiopharmaceuticals and dispose of radioactive materials
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
  • Certification by ARRT or NMTCB
  • Minimum 1-year work experience in Nuclear Medicine Tech
  • Excellent communication skills and knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals and radioisotope equipment
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $44.00-$55.00 per hour.
