We are looking for a dedicated and licensed Nurse Practitioner to become a vital part of our established Rheumatology practice at Bendcare, LLC. This position is located in a thriving area with convenient access to various amenities and major transportation routes.
Our facility is equipped with a team of experienced professionals, including 3 Physicians and 2 Nurse Practitioners, alongside 4 examination rooms and a cutting-edge Infusion Suite featuring 4 chairs. We focus on a wide range of conditions, including but not limited to Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Gout, Osteoporosis, Lupus, Sjogren's Syndrome, and Vasculitis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients and review their medical histories.
- Order and analyze diagnostic tests such as blood work and imaging studies.
- Diagnose and recommend treatment plans for autoimmune and arthritic conditions.
- Prescribe necessary medications and oversee IV Infusion Treatments.
- Maintain precise medical records and manage patient schedules.
- Communicate health conditions and prescribed treatments to patients effectively.
- Educate patients and their families about various diseases and treatment options.
- Monitor patients' overall health and promote healthy lifestyle choices.
- Engage in continuous professional development and research activities.
- Perform additional duties as directed by the supervising physician.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in Rheumatology, Orthopedics, or related fields is preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
- Experience with joint injections is a plus.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and patient care standards.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong ethical standards and integrity.
- A collaborative team player with a positive demeanor and patience.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and clinical skill enhancement.
- Valid Nurse Practitioner and DEA licenses in Florida.
