Job Summary
Candidates for the Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist position at Norman Regional Health System will be responsible for preparing and maintaining equipment, assessing patient conditions, and providing care in a sterile environment during cardiovascular procedures. This role requires collaboration with a team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists, as well as mentoring new hires to ensure excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
  • Identifies and assesses patient condition, prepares, positions and provides patient care.
  • Establishes and maintains a sterile environment.

Professional Practice
The successful candidate will serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff. They will use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager. A strong professional working relationship with physicians and leadership is necessary to facilitate excellent patient care.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have completed Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months. Additionally, they will have completed all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months. The minimum educational requirement is a completion of a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification. Previous procedural area experience is preferred.

Salary Range
$27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
