About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Care Specialist to support women throughout their labor and delivery experience, ensuring the safe arrival of their babies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to expectant mothers throughout the labor and delivery process, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
  • Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, assess progress during labor, and assist with pain management techniques.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized birth plans and interventions.
  • Assist with childbirth, including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and other obstetric procedures.
  • Educate and support mothers and their families during the postpartum period, providing breastfeeding assistance, newborn care instruction, and emotional support.

Requirements

  • Current RN license
  • BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
  • Two years of recent labor and delivery nursing experience
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills
