Physician - Inpatient Care

We are seeking a skilled Physician to join our team at Wellpath. As a Physician, you will be responsible for assessing and providing medical care to patients in a hospital setting. This is a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients and be part of a mission-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities- Perform physical exams, order diagnostic tests, and provide medical treatments to patients throughout their hospital stay.
- Coordinate with other medical staff to ensure accurate and thorough documentation of all assessments.
- Make referrals for tests and consultations, monitor ongoing care of medical conditions, and provide education on medical diagnoses to patients and their families.
- Collaborate effectively with staff from other disciplines and be knowledgeable about the care and treatment needs of patients of different ages.
- Medical doctorate (MD) from an accredited university.
- Two (2) years post-residency clinical experience in an inpatient setting, psychiatric experience preferred.
- Licensed in the state of employment.
- Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and applicable certifications.
- Board certified or eligible in internal or family medicine.
