Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse, you will collaborate with patients, their families, and the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment strategies, ensuring the achievement of nursing department objectives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the care and management of assigned patients.
- Facilitating the smooth flow of patient care, including screening, preparation for examinations, and coordination of admissions and discharges.
- Maintaining and updating patient records, including test results.
- Administering medications as per physician directives.
- Educating patients and families about medications and treatment plans.
- Handling incoming calls and providing necessary triage when required.
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A degree from an accredited nursing program, with an Associate degree in Nursing or higher.
- A valid Registered Nurse license in the state of practice or an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
- Current certification in ACLS & PALS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
